How does the session work?
A typical portrait session lasts around 2 hours, which gives us time for multiple locations (or multiple areas to lie around if you're a newborn), time to change clothes and accessories, to play football, walk in the forest, take photos of every family member etc. It also means that you can relax into things and get used to me and the camera. Even if you're a self-concious 13 year old.
Do I need to plan or prepare anything? Not really. We'll have a chat beforehand to plan what we'll do. If we're doing a family shoot I can discuss with you the best ideas based on what kinds of things you like to do. And if I'm coming to your house to photograph young kids or babies its a good idea to have a general tidy but to leave out favourite toys and blankets. I can discuss clothes with you too if you're not sure what to wear. What do we receive after the session?
Within 3 weeks all your edited and finished images will be in an online gallery for you to view. Depending on the package you chose you'll also receive a collection of finished prints for your wall or a beautiful coffeetable album. |
