It's finished. Apart from one tiny bit on the north side that the roofers will come back and do when they have time. It did end up taking longer than expected (shock, horror...), because we had a week's worth of windy days inbetween one end of the roof and another.
I love it. I'm so pleased with the colour - from a distance it just seems to blend into the bush behind. It's dark and inviting and lovely.

The idea of having scorched weatherboard on the side has been scrapped. The design is a work in progress! All the exterior walls will now be rendered. I'm still thinking a nice oatey colour.
