I thought I'd share some images from this family shoot I did a couple of weeks ago. When the sun is out in Dunedin the winter doesn't seem so bleak! Briar is 8 months in these, which is a nice time for a photoshoot because baby can sit confidently and is also super interactive. Briar particularly loves anything with a hint of danger it seems, including getting close to some rampant geese, and being flung around in a big quilt.

Lush. You may have noticed a few changes around here - chief among them my new website, which isn't a drastic change from the old, but a bit swankier and smoother. I'm also not logo-ing my images anymore. That's just a personal decision, I hate smacking some writing on a photograph, and the reasons I was doing it before don't really apply anymore. I reserve the right to change my mind though! We'll see how I go.
Guess what? The roofers are arriving tomorrow!!! We will have a roof on the house this time next week (quick, touch wood!) if all goes to plan. I'm totally ready for it to take 15 times as long as expected (as per usual with this house), but ahhhh, it'll look great.
Does anyone remember a house on Grand Designs that was in the Isle of Wight and was a 1950s bungalow conversion? They did an exterior cladding on there by blow-torching larch weatherboard. Burning it black. That's what I want on the side of the house :) A bit of a feature. I'll be gutted if Steven gets to do that whilst I'm away though. I want in on the fun.
