I was looking forward to this time of the year when my weddings were over for the season, thinking I would have TONS of time on my hands to do all the little projects that have been waiting for me. Including blogging. Somehow though, the weeks are flying by and my blog has lain unattended. So have all those other projects. Except actually the cutlery drawer - I did manage to clean out the cutlery drawer the other day which was thrillling, but not quite thrilling enough to blog about. My mum reminded me on Skype today that when she checks my blog in work of a morning, there are NO Elmer photographs waiting for her. She guilted me into blogging today.
Elmer hasn't been his usual lively (photographed) self recently. He's been sick with colds or a cough on and off for weeks. I've not been that well either, and the combination of sick baby, sick me, winter, and the general admin that takes up any spare time I have means that I've not been so active with my camera lately. Here is my sick little boy:

He's still beautiful even when he's ill. I just want to be able to magic him better. We've had a few happy days inbetween illnesses when we've got out and about. Here's Elmer in the museum:

He took his first independent steps this month, but still likes to walk along holding a hand or some furniture.
We couldn't miss the model train exhibition in Dunedin recently. Elmer LOVES trains ("ch ch ch ch")....

My two geeks together.
Now, we only have two hours to kill before Elmer's doctor's appointment. Unfortunately the Hungry Caterpillar DVD only lasts 30 minutes!

Awwwwwwww! Poor Elmer. Great photos though. How long is the exhibition? You should go in every day, just to get that smile!
(06.02.11 @ 03:51 AM)tehehehe I couldn't help but giggle just a little at that second pic - looks like a serious case of man flu! They learn young huh?!
(06.02.11 @ 07:37 PM)Ha, yes they do. And I totally give in to it (for the baby, not the grown man!)
