My last wedding of the (summer) season, and man alive... I had SO much fun with these guys. Some weddings make me think 'I could shoot this wedding every week' and this was one of those. My true photography love is documentary, and so any wedding that is not only full of things happening, but full of people having an incredible time whilst the things are happening, makes me happy. I love getting lost in a sea of people and getting right in on the action without anyone batting an eyelid. I love when people are so obviously besotted with eachother, and I love anything a little different from the norm (my norm that is).

Lawrence and Natalie are Chinese-Malaysian so the start of the wedding day included the Chinese tradition of the groom fighting his way through a series of challenges before he could meet his bride. The bridesmaids are in charge of planning the challenges, and they generally include anything embarrassing, hilarious and demeaning. So much fun. It also sets up the day in a very relaxed and jovial mood. Later on at the reception the guests performed songs and speeches, and the flower girls gave a violin recital. Yucky weather but it didn't matter...
