Mrudula and Prashant had a Hindu ceremony at Glenfalloch before Christmas. I was really excited about this wedding on two accounts - 1. This would be my first proper Hindu wedding, and 2. I got to use my new 24mm lens for the first time!
Steven and I have been lucky enough to be hosted by families in India in the past, so I'm used to the generous Indian hospitality, and this wedding was no exception. I had an absolute killer of a night with Elmer the night beforehand (teething??!) but had SUCH a good time at Mrudula and Prashant's wedding that I forgot my tiredness and really got into the spirit of the day.
A Hindu ceremony is really long. As a photographer that's great, because capturing the ceremony, and the emotions, and the rituals is what I love to do. It was fascinating!
Oh and I promised Mrudula I wouldn't put tons of photographs on the blog since they are both a little shy. Well I've tried to limit myself but I'm so pleased with the images from this wedding I am posting a few that I just love. Thanks guys :) xx

By the way, I had a great Christmas this year. I was a little worried I'd miss my family in the UK and that would spoil things, but we Skyped for present opening, and having Christmas with Elmer enjoying his new toys (briefly, before he moved back the pots and pans) was lush. Hope everyone else had a lovely day too!
