Steven's been fencing. He leaves in the morning and comes back when it's dark, and in the meantime he spends all day pulling wires, fixing up posts, and hammering fencing nails in. Often in the afternoon I will walk down the hill with Elmer in his front pack (sling) and we take Steven snacks to eat.

I love the afternoon light at this time of year. The dogs with their shiny black fur look particularly handsome as the sun sets lower in the sky.
