I was outside patting the dogs and noticed that Nana was feeling a little chubby around the middle. It has been raining ALL week, so she may have been a bit more stationary than usual but still, I thought I should let Steven know about this weight gain since he feeds the dogs. Now bear in mind that although we love both doggies, Nana is Steven's favourite and Nails is mine. He's so cool.
Sinead: "Hey, I think Nana is getting a bit fat, you might want to cut back on her food."
Steven: "No she's not fat, that's just her natural shape. She looks good. And anyway, she gets less food than Nails as it is." (Her 'natural shape'!)
Sinead: "Yes, although Nails is very energetic and works off his food. He exercises. So he needs more."
Steven: "Oh Nana exercises! What do you think she's doing all day? She's out chasing rabbits and guarding the place whilst Nails is lazing around here looking for pats..."
Which just goes to prove what I always say - Nails is the most loyal. And therefore the best! Look how he jumps up to the window and then as soon as Nana comes along shifts to the side so that she can't jump up too. So cute!

And the look of dismay in that last image ("She is ALWAYS cramping my style").
Oh and for people thinking "I want to see pretty weddings on the blog not dogs!" I have two lovely winter weddings coming up in the next couple of weeks...
