I have to admit, I was dreading Shireen and Andy's wedding. When I initially spoke to Shireen about travelling up to the North Island, I knew I would have a 4 month old baby (or thereabouts), but I didn't know what that would entail exactly. I did a little research and decided my baby would cope without me for the 2 nights I would be spending up in Napier. He'd be fine. And he was fine! Steven took great care of him. What I didn't think about was how I would cope! I cried all the way to the airport, and carried on crying pretty much until I started reading The Time Wasters Letters (so funny) on the airplane.
Luckily the wedding the next day was a great distraction. Andy and Shireen are like two very chilled out, very in-love models (what more could I ask for?!) and their wedding was beautiful. From the ceremony in Andy's parent's garden, to the reception at Clifton Station on the waterfront, everything was visually stunning, and I could have added another 10 hours to the wedding day and still been finding new things to photograph.
Turns out Shireen is a photographer-turned-camerawoman for Channel 7 in Oz. I only found out at the reception... eeek the pressure!

And look at the beautiful stone I got to take home! These were part of the table settings, and Andy's dad made them for EVERYONE at the wedding. So cool.

Thanks guys for trusting me with your photography!
Another wedding and an engagement session coming up....
