Some images from our first week in the UK. Elmer is utterly in love and wants Grandma to do everything with him. Milo is happy. He’s been eating a lot.
We haven’t been here very long, but already it’s been totally worthwhile, seeing my boys and my parents enjoying eachother. Elmer accompanies his Grandad on dog walks to the park and Max gets tied up so Elmer can go on the slide – Grandad has infinite patience so Elmer can do his park routines over and over. My mum is the baby whisperer; she loves them, and they love her. She reads Elmer his bedtime stories (current favourites are Dogger and The Many Mice of Mr Brice), soothes any upsets, makes incredible lunchboxes, and indulges Elmer in his inane conversations. Meanwhile my sister is out walking Milo in his pushchair for his afternoon nap in the sun. Life is good. Steven is at home and we miss him, but I’m not missing winter too much.
So nice to have time to myself to get back into my photography mojo.
Lots more time for blogging too!
