I was chatting to a lady recently about her daughter’s wedding photography. She admitted the photographs were not her cup of tea – too many black and white documentary images, and not enough posed family photographs. Sounds like my kind of photographer! • Steven the Husband - You’re right there Liana! He’s starting to look like a proper grownup little boy. You can see how he’s changing. On skype he still looked the same but he was sitting down. It’s the ever increasing height, at this rate he’ll tower over me by the time he’s four

  • Two - He really looks like you in this one Steven!

  • Megan - Hi Sinead – I had exactly the same experience! I especially found a photographer that did candid, natural photographs as that was the style I loved – and yet my mother was not impressed – expected lots of posed family shots (we got a few, but I want candid photos rather than posed). To me it’s up to the bride and groom to get the photos they want 🙂

  • Sinead Photo - I agree Megan. There are all sorts of personalities at weddings, but whatever the bride and groom want is my priority. Thanks for the Elmer comments everyone! x

In the old 1980 photograph album at my parent’s house there are only a few photographs from each month. There may be a few more in Elmer’s albums in the future! Here I am at 11 months, just a couple of weeks older than he is now. The main difference is that I am standing […]

  • Steven the Husband - Considering Elmer is mostly mouth, teeth and eyes i suppose that means he has my ears!? You forgot he also has your cheeks, which make up the rest of his face. Ears are fine, useful too.

  • Monica - We inherited that flooring by the way. Nothing wrong with your Grandad’s ears Sinead…apart from the size! Wish we’d had you around to take better photos!

Elmer’s arrival in the UK, (and to a lesser extent my arrival!) has been very eagerly anticipated. I think every baby shop in Cardiff has been visited just to see if there is anything else he might appreciate playing with/wearing/sleeping in during his stay here. A pampered grandson! Here are a few images from his […]

  • Grandad - Yes, Steven. It gives his face definition, as his grandmother would say. Notice how Max stays just out of reach? He’s no fool that dog.
